Surfing, stand-up paddleboard, sea kayaking, mountain biking, ATV tours, zip-line tours, petroglyphs and more are popular amongst outdoor enthusiasts in this region. It’s also a place that draws in nature lovers to see gray whales, migrating birds, and bountiful sea life.
Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park
Located in Bahía Pulmo just south of Nuevas Palmas, Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park is the location of the oldest of only three coral reefs on the west coast of North America. The reef, estimated to be 20,000 years old, is the northernmost coral reef in the eastern Pacific. The bay is an ideal place for snorkelers and beginning divers with much of the reef accessible from shore. There are spectacular sites awaiting the more advanced and experienced divers with most dives between 30-70 feet.
